6. Four Tips to Ace Your Preparation

If you desire to crack the exam with a good rank, these tips will surely help you.

Multiple Revisions:

Understanding a concept is just the first step. Remembering it until the exam time is the next hurdle. You need to take multiple revision sessions for all important chapters. Keep revisiting your own notes of all chapters as many times as possible. We recommend that you revise every chapter at least twice a month when the exam is less than three months away. Multiple revisions will help you to retain that information inside your brain.

Solve MCQs:

When you have understood a chapter and revised it multiple times, the next step is to solve the previous year's questions. For important chapters as mentioned in this article, try to solve a total of 50-60 MCQs on those important chapters. Some MCQs bring a whole new concept in front of you. Note that down, include that in your notes, and revisit that during multiple revisions. New concepts are more frequently repeated in the CSIR NET exam.

Attempt Mock Tests:

There are multiple websites including our own ChemContent where you can easily find downloadable previous year question papers and try to attempt it like a mock test. You can set a timer on your mobile phone calculate your score, and analyze your performance later.

Do not repeat your mistakes:

The concepts that are giving you negative marks in mock tests need special attention. Because, those are the concepts which you think you understand, but you really don't. We will suggest revisiting those concepts and collecting additional information about them so that you don't repeat your mistakes.

Good Luck, We hope you achieve your ambitions through the coming exam. Happy Learning 😊
